Family Day festivities

For Family Day we bundled up and spent the afternoon outdoors at our town's local Winter fest.
It was -6 but with the windchill it was closer to -20 so we didn't last as long as we set out too...but we all had fun regardless.
We met up with our friends Shannon and Jaime and their two boys Jack and Kieran. The kids all had fun playing together and the adults...well we all tried to stay warm!

Chuck E Cheese

The kids got some really neat Christmas presents from their aunts and Uncles some of which were gift cards to go out and do some fun things..which everyone knows we love to do!!

On Sunday night we went out for a few hours to Chuck E Cheese so the kids could play!
They had a great time and it was fun to see them enjoy themselves so much.

Swimming open house

Last week Gabriel had his swimming lessons open house. This is the lesson where parents get to come right next to the pool and take pictures and also discuss your child's progress with their instructor.

I am happy to report that Gabriel is doing really well and is very comfortable in the water!
He loves to swim and wishes every night was Tuesday night!

It is a real pleasure to watch him evey week doing something he loves so much!

Snow day!

We have had a lot of snow this winter which the kids have been loving!
A few weeks back they were calling for 30 cm+ . We got a lot, I am not sure of the final count but it was enough to cancel the buses and make me uneasy about driving with my precious cargo...so we stayed put and had a snow day!

We spent a few good hours outdoors. One playing and then the kids were very helpful and assisted me on our driveway (sadly daddy was out of town so he missed all the fun!).
I couldn't believe what a fantastic helper Emma was, she really made some progress and between the two of us we got my car out!
