Gabriel's birthday

Gabriel had a great birthday!
His day started with a yummy breakfast and then presents from Mommy, Daddy and Emma.
He has recently really become interested in "super hero's" so his birthday theme this year was spider man along with some Iron Man toys! He was pretty happy!

I spent the morning in his classroom with him where he got to sport a birthday crown and sit in the special birthday chair! I think he liked this. All of his classmates enjoyed singing to him. It was pretty cute to watch. A luxury we miss with Emma having a summer birthday.

After school we headed to Chuck E Cheese for a fun afternoon and then after school as if his day wasn't fun enough we met up with Auntie Nancy, Josh and Ethan for a night at the movies!

A really fun day for our little 4 year old!

Happy 4th Birthday Gabriel!!

Today our littlest angel turns 4!

I can't quite seem to get my head around the fact that our "baby" is really no longer a baby. (I do realize that he hasn't been for quite some time but sadly for him I think he will always be my baby!)

Gabriel,

Four years ago you made our little family complete! A wonderful son for Mommy and Daddy and a little brother and friend for life for Emma.

You are a happy, easy going little guy with a huge interest in what is around you. You will try anything once (which is all we really ask!!) and although most times this is a great thing...sometimes not always. Only you could pull a 36 inch t.v. off the stand and not get hurt!!

You make us so proud of your accomplishments in school. You entered with such confidence and really have such a wonderful attitude towards school. Like your sister you love to learn and we see this every day with your eagerness to go and your participation in class.

You are learning so much and we can see how proud you are of yourself and that makes us so happy! You started JK at 3 and a lot of your classmates are older than you, but that hasn't stopped you at all! You try hard and it shows! We're so proud of you Mr. G!

I have been fortunate to spend lots of time with you in school and am always impressed and amazed by how outgoing you are. You love to play with your friends, yet you are comfortable playing on your own too. A quality that will take you far!

You are such a cuddle monkey and we love how you love to snuggle and fluff! Anyone who knows you well has come to know that if there is a blanket that can be fluffed around...beware!

You are a wonderful little brother and friend to Emma! You do love to tease her but also know how to make her feel better if she is sad. We love that you call her "sister" and although we don't really know how it started it's funny to hear you call her Emma as it is rare!!

There is nothing I love more than having you fling your arms around me when I pick you up from school....this I will never tire of!!

Mommy and Daddy love you very much Gabriel and are always so thankful that you are our little boy! You make everyday special and we feel so blessed to be your parents. We hope you have a very special birthday little buddy and we can't wait to see what your fourth year brings!!

A few weeks back we spent a fun afternoon at the park with Auntie Becky (not shown).
Once again it seems we are being blessed with a pleasant fall!

A peacock and Spiderman hit Camp Snoopy!

This year Wonderland hosted Camp Spooky in Kidsville.
The whole park was decorated and turned into a Halloween wonderland.
Emma and Gabriel spent the day going around the park collecting clues and treats and were also a part of the costume parade.
It was a fantastic day and we are already looking forward to next years!

Thanksgiving Mini putting

We've been keeping pretty busy these days but having fun as we go.
On Thanksgiving weekend we had some fun mini putting. The weather was wonderful and we took advantage!
