We're going to plant a garden
This year we have decided to plant a vegetable garden again.
When we first moved up here Rob had a garden every summer but once we became parents we just didn't seem to have as much time! Funny that;)
This year however we figured the kids are at a great age to not only appreciate a veggie garden but help us plant one.
A few weeks back we went out to the garden centre and picked up all the different seeds to be planted.
Rob rented a rototiller and got our garden back in order and then the kids helped him plant the seeds in different little cups to start growing indoors.
They loved it, especially Emma and they have been watching the seeds grow and are excited that they have all sprouted.
This weekend we will be starting carrots and lettuce in the garden and we're pretty excited!

Cousins!
Last Wednesday we had a nice visit with Auntie Nicole and Noah.
It's hard to believe that Noah is almost nine months! Where does the time go?!!
We headed over after school for a visit and dinner before heading off to Sparks. Daddy and Uncle Andy were working late so it was just us girls and the kids.
It was nice to see the cousins playing together and Noah we are so happy that we didn't share any one our germs with you!
We look forward to our next visit soon:)

Feeling spoiled!
The kids have been hit by a nasty bug and it's been a doozy of one. Poor little Gabriel has been hit the hardest and it's really taken it's toll on him.
Today is the first day in six days where we are seeing a glimpse of the real him and he is happily eating again. Emma got it too but luckily for her it came and went within 24 hours.
That being said we have been spoiled by Auntie Becky and Uncle John who spent Saturday with us and Grandma and Papa who came to take care of Gabriel for the day on Sunday when Emma was at her worse. And Grandma Brown for all your much appreciated nursing advice...!
Rob and I appreciate the help and support very much!
Today we got a really special treat as Papa came to visit with treats for Mama ( homemade cabbage rolls, a coffee and a guilt free magazine!) and some special toys for the kiddies!
We had a nice visit and it was great to see the kids playing and interacting again in a happy way!
Thanks for the treats Papa you sure made our day:)

Fairy Lake at night
Emma and Gabriel have been enjoying being able to get on their bikes again now that the warmer weather has arrived, and we've been taking advantage of the weather by going out a few nights after dinner for a walk/ ride.
Gabriel was quite happy to have his "new" big boy bike that daddy spray painted army green for him! And Emma is getting to be quite the pro and I am thinking this summer the training wheels will be a thing of the past....

Bike riding
We have been taking advantage of this lovely weather we've been having and did something fun every day this week. On Wednesday, my girlfriend Marisa and I took the boys to the local park so they could bike ride.
What a pair of cuties they were, riding around and enjoying being together!

Buddies
Gabriel and his buddy Christopher have really enjoyed playing together this year.
Everyday after school we've been hanging around for a bit so the boys and Emma and her buddies can play. The nice weather has helped!
We're hoping to get them in the same class next year as they get on so well.

Easter weekend
We had a wonderful Easter long weekend visiting with our two families.
Thanks to Grandma and Papa, Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Andy, Auntie Nicole and Uncle Rory for the special Easter treats! They have been very enjoyed :)

Easter Morning
The Easter bunny visited our house last weekend and Emma and Gabriel both enjoyed finding eggs that were hidden all over the living room!
We never managed any pictures of them finding the eggs as there was too much excitement, we did however get some of them with their baskets and after the hunt!
