I am happy to report that both Emma and Gabriel have adjusted very well to school.
Gabriel went in with no concerns, he has loved school from day one and is really doing well.
I try and go in regularly and am proud of how well he is adapting and learning the routine.
He is a little sponge and is taking it all in. Like his sister he loves to learn!
Emma is my little sidekick and really feels being away the whole day from her Mama. It has been trying at times, but I try and remind myself that these days don't last forever and although I can't imagine it right now there will be a day where I am uncool to walk around a mall with....I know I have a hard time believing it too;)
She has however adjusted very well academically and after talking to her teacher at curriculum night we were happy to hear just how well she is doing, not that we were too surprised.
She loves her teacher, her friends, french and math. And the biggest surprise (not) is that she loves recess!
I am waiting to hear when I go back to work. We know it will be soon as I am waiting for a placement so while we wait we have been transitioning Gabriel with his new baby sitter.
Agnes picks him up from school at least once a week and he spends the afternoon with her.
It's been nice to have some time for myself before I go back...these times are rare and treasured!
So..throw in a new start to ballet (and jazz) this year, Sparks (where I signed up to be contact guider...which means I am in charge of everything...was I crazy?!!) and Gymnastics to start soon with little man, our days are busy!
Plus a few business trips for daddy and a stolen car, which I am happy to report we got back. It's amazing we have time for anything else.
We've managed of course and have had fun at places like Wonderland and the local farm.
So that's what we've been up to, hopefully the blog will continue to get done, it just may not be daily all the time!
Enjoy:)
I re-title this post "While Daddy's car was being stolen we were....."

Oh and I forgot to mention a bad tumble with Gabriel that resulted in his teeth going through his bottom lip..luckily no ER or stitches were required!
