Emma and Gabriel Chapter 2: African Lion Safari

The kids were so good about leaving our camping trip and all their buddies early that before we left we told them on Sunday we would be doing something very special.
We took them to African Lion Safari for the day and it was such a fantastic way to spend the day.

We had taken Emma when she was almost two (although she had no memory of it!).
There is so much to see and do and the kids, Rob and I loved every minute.
We made a full day of it and almost did everything. The weather was ridiculously hot so we all spent the day in and out of the splash pad to keep cool which was great.

We started our adventure in the safari.
Initially we had thought we would take the bus as in previous years the monkeys had been destructive but we decided to chance it and took in daddy's new car ( his choice) but we had no issue with them.
Maybe it was the heat but their was no action from any of the monkeys on any car for that matter.
Kids were a tad disappointed and even though I am sure it would have been fun, we might not have throught so later when we were shelling out money for a new windshield wiper;)

We saw lots of animals and had some other visitors approach our car as you will soon see.....
