Emma can read!!

It may seem odd but two of my biggest worries when I had children were 1. toilet training and 2. teaching our children to read.

Looking back it might seem silly, but these two tasks seemed to hold such huge responsibility that I couldn't imagine knowing quite where to start.

Lucky for Rob and I we have two wonderful keen learners and potty training proved to be a positive experience for all. I also soon realized that you grow with your children and they don't wake up one morning needing to be in underwear and reading... you have time and something we could all learn together!

Watching and supporting Emma learning to read has been such a fun experience. I can't tell you the joy we get watching her connect with each word and the pure pride she shows when she gets it.

She is loving the Independence of reading on her own and "reading" to Gabriel.

Each week she brings home a new book from school and as the weeks progress the books become more advanced and her reading becomes stronger.

Way to go Emma....Mommy and Daddy sure our proud of our little reader!
